NotchRail Will it work on your Mac?
Try NotchRail with your own menu bar apps before purchasing. Menu bar apps differ a lot in how they draw and open their menus.

Requirements
- macOS 13 or later is the build minimum. Not every older version has been tested.
- Accessibility and Screen Recording permission for the scrolling row and for opening icons’ menus from it. Hiding and expanding work without them.
- One menu bar manager at a time. NotchRail refuses to start while Hidden Bar is running.
Known limits
- Submenus and some custom pop-over panels are only partly supported from the scrolling row.
- Changing displays collapses the row; long sessions across display changes still need broader testing.
- NotchRail uses compatibility behavior of macOS (including a legacy window-capture interface) that a future macOS update may change or remove.
- The system’s privacy, screen sharing and Live Activity indicators are intentionally never moved into the row.
- The trackpad feel of scrolling and dragging on different Macs has not been broadly tested.
A quick first check
- Place the | divider and confirm that clicking the arrow hides and restores your icons.
- Allow the two permissions, reopen the app and expand the row.
- Open the menu of each app you care about from the row.
- ⌘-drag one icon to a new position and confirm the real menu bar follows.
