What is free and what is paid

Hiding and expanding menu bar icons is free, always. The scrolling row beside the notch — including opening menus from it and ⌘-dragging to rearrange — can be tried free for 14 days from the first time you use it. After the trial it needs a license. The app never charges you automatically and asks for no card.

What the license includes

A USD $6.99 one-time purchase covers one person’s use on up to 3 Macs, for the purchased major version (version 1) and its maintenance releases. A future paid major upgrade is optional; you may keep using the version you bought, subject to compatible hardware and macOS. A license may not be publicly shared or resold.

Activation

An internet connection is needed to activate a Mac or to move a license to another Mac (deactivate in Settings first). The app re-checks the license about once a week; a purchase keeps working offline and during service outages. A license confirmed as refunded or revoked may stop unlocking the scrolling row.

Refunds

Ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase by replying to your receipt or writing to the address above. A refund revokes the associated license. This does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

Use the trial with your own Mac and menu bar apps first. Purchasing does not make an unsupported app or configuration supported. See compatibility.

What the app does

NotchRail is a convenience utility for arranging menu bar icons. It relies on macOS behavior that Apple may change; future macOS updates may affect compatibility, and support for every app or future OS version is not promised.

Payment provider

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, which shows the final price and applicable taxes at checkout and issues your receipt and license key. This site collects no payment details.
